this drama has got to be one of the best rom-coms ever made. I've really enjoyed this drama, bc it's mainly funny but has emotional depth, perhaps what sets this one apart is the focus on supporting character's lives, the star of this drama to me is Kim Hae-Sook, she carried her scenes beautifully, and that's how a talented actress like her operates, her marriage was what kept me going, I wanted a happy ending for her, and she finally got it! we're expecting for happy family of Han Groo and Yeon Woo-Jin moreover also with Heo Jeong-Min and Yoon So-Hee, also dont know what happen with Jinwoon. It seems that slowly KD's are evolving in how they are depicting the family dynamics. but after watched first episode, this drama is so damn good.
sure, the leads dont dive into a relationship straight away but i really love that about this drama. my main complaint is that the drama feels kinda steroetypical, and formalic, I mean how many times have we watched fake marriages turn to real ones, I hoped they'd change the format a bit, but well...it's all good. :( woooooooooow one of my best drama ever i just cant get enough of it everyone is so lovely & great i've watched 3times already & every time i get excited just like first time love you all keep up the great work fighting This starts of being what appears to be a lightweight romantic comedy and then surprises the audience with great depth and wisdom without loosing the inherent delightfullness of the drama. every ending part always makes me wanna watch the next episode.
Cast: Han Sun Hwa Kang Se Ah Review: by palak of mydramalist "I think this is one of those dramas where you sit back and say "Wow, so this is also a way a Korean Drama can be made." I mean, don't get me wrong, there were some kdrama cliches in Marriage Not Dating but nothing was overbearing. And it was an extremely refreshing romantic-comedy. A guy wants to stay single while his family (mostly his mom) threatens to get him married. I didn't care much for second leads, which was pretty much a bonus because I hate having second lead syndrome. I think Ki Tae's mom's character was the most interesting.
So he decides to make Jang Mi his fake girlfriend as he knows his family would never approve of her as their daughter-in-law. I haven't loved a female lead in a long time the way I loved Jang Mi. I mean, sure, she got a little clingy at times but that was funny too. Sometimes I loved her and there were times I really hated her (can't believe Jang Mi never disliked her). By the end of the drama I realized she was the character I became most emotionally invested in. In fact I loved the growth of every character in this drama.
there was more to it than the romance.there was friendship, relaxation, laughter, family and thats what life is all chemistry was amazing and i could actually feel the love the leads had for each people bash some characters but as for me i loved each and every character in this drama ( perhaps except the gong ki tae s father) and the character development was good. It's very rare for me not to find some fault with the writing of dramas but here the writing was exceptional. tv N should produced or published more dramas like this! I am thankful to the writer that the character Han Yeo-Reum was taken care well.
i could watch this drama 10000 times and not get tired of it.totally in the top 5 of my all time favourite dramas I'm trying to finish this drama and I am in episode 14 right now and barely holding on. I watched "my shy boss" during winter break and was also really impressed! ROM-COM ALWAYS BE THE MOST WANTED DRAMAS :) tbh I think if this drama is on sbs or kbs instead of tv N , this drama will be a big success because people don really watch drama from tv N network so they don expect any good drama coming from tv N that why the rating for this drama is so low. Though the plot might sound familiar but the way the story is unveiled is very unique and new. He's such a lovely person with such a bad childhood and all alone in the world.
The drama aired on tv N from July 4 to August 23, 2014. Gong Ki-tae has no interest in getting married, but he’s forced by his family to marry. On the other hand, Joo Jang-mi dreamed about is a marriage and wish to be married to a man, who loves her truly for being her.
They both look not want to avoid their fake marriage and want that’s marriage to happen.
Gi Tae planning to proposed Jang Mi but on the last, Kang Se Ah (his ex-fiancee) crush that plan. And also, Gi Tae’s mother is shocked when seeing Jang Mi hugged Yeo Reum in front of Gi Tae’s apartment.
I think I haven't loved any bgm this much since the "meh" for Sam Chun Po in Reply 1994. Overall I would recommend this drama for the slightly-different but cute love story and the hilarious family situations. " My note: This is one of my favorite rom-com kdramas of all time.
A perfect man, Kong Ki-Tae (Yeon Woo-Jin), is forced to marry by his family, but he doesn't to marry.
